Clamping Elements & Taper-Lock bushings

Clamping elements is an alternative to key seats between shaft and hub. In a unit with key seat, the forces will be concentrated to a limited area.
With a clamping element the forces will be distributed throughout the plant surface between axis and hub, allowing clamping units can handle a higher torque and becomes completely backlash-free, which is an advantage for intermittent operation with many starts and stops.
